The Taliban once again called on the international community to open an embassy in Kabul
Taliban leaders have once again called on other countries to reopen their embassies and missions in Kabul. In this regard, the Taliban also hosted a reception for foreign diplomats and political representatives at the Foreign Ministry yesterday.
Several countries, including Pakistan, Turkey, China and Russia, have opened embassies in Kabul, but have not yet recognized the Taliban government.
Taliban Deputy Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said he treated foreign ambassadors responsibly during the transfer of power.
Taliban Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar also called on all countries to open embassies and political missions.
